Who can offer me services and what can I offer back
I can offer my services to a manager which, if I get far, can promote them, and earn them more money towards their personal business/ company. In return, they can offer me their services by promoting me and my music to people, widen my audience, book me gigs, getting me signed to a good producer and finally employing people for me depending on what I need. Another professional I could offer my services to is a producer as they could produce my music and get it to an industry standard, and I could service them by, if the song gets a wide listener range, promoting and widening the clientele for their company.

This company is aiming to build a “thriving live music scene” in the Teesside area, it is a charity funded association based in Stockton-on-Tees that offer a lot of services to people who are aspiring to be a musician and helps them reach their goals and aims in the industry. One of the services s that they offer a recording and rehearsal facility called Green Dragon Studios based in Stockton on tees, this would be very helpful as being a young budding artist I will need space to rehearse and record so this is very useful. Another service they offer is live music venues, these being the Georgian Theatre and The Green Room, these are so helpful for a young artist as it can get your name and professional identity out there and promote your brand and many more! Overall, this company could be useful for the type of networking development and skill development I need as the variety of help they offer is outstanding.

This company was founded in 1991, it is a similar concept of company to tees music alliance where its main goal is to work directly with artist to develop better their skill. One of their groups is called “tipping point” this is “the Uks leading talent developing program for musicians” which, annually, helps around 750 musicians get to where they want to be. They have a yearlong development scheme that is based for songwriters to help them develop their skills and get somewhere musically. This would be helpful for me as I already write my own lyrics and having that support there to help ke along and better my skills would be excellent.
